I put together a basic two-channel home recording studio by purchasing some high quality, gently used or open box gear. I spent a day installing and training on the basics and running through a demo session.
“Paul set up our home studio and was absolutely masterful in understanding our needs, budget and goals and providing a high quality and extremely cost-effective finished product. He is extremely knowledgeable and skillful and gave excellent communication, and offered whatever assistance was needed throughout the entire process. He has continued to follow up and to make himself available for questions and support after the home studio installation was complete.”
UPDATE: Asheville Junction has been performing their amazing brand of bluegrass music locally at a variety of venues and events. Check out their live music and sampler videos on their YouTube channel.
I spent a couple of afternoons with Kevin and his gear learning his objectives, testing and making adjustments, and providing technical explanation. I fixed a wonky power supply jack on his graphic equalizer and helped set up his next gig and provided feedback to fine tune the sound he runs from the stage. An enjoyable mix of classic tunes played by experienced musicians and good singers.
I worked with Gary at EGW Concerts to thoroughly test his extensive collection of classic analog gear, identify and isolate any issues, and devise a plan to make sure his system is road ready.
I helped Dean systematically test and tune his system before an outdoor gig, providing advice and technical training as we went along.
UPDATE: Dean has invested in a premium sound system with a PreSonus digital mixer and QSC tops and subs. I helped setup and optimize his new gear and its performance is impressive.
