Do you need a professional sound system, lights or recording of that BigGig coming up soon?
I have the equipment, experience and collaborative approach to make the most of the opportunity. Whether it is sound, lights or recording, I can deliver what you need without a lot of time or hassle.
Are you playing in a band and running sound from the stage, and want your band to sound better with less work?
I have worked for many bands as sound engineer and enjoy mixing all genres of music. I strive for a studio sound with the vocals on top with intelligibility and balanced harmonies, instruments emphasized during leads, and a solid drum and bass foundation. I like working closely with the band to produce a sound that is more than the sum of the parts, more than the sound coming off the stage. I engineer the appropriate effects and learn the songs and set lists and can run lights to produce a professional show.
These Guys Live, Columbus’ premier rock cover band, perform a great mix of rock classics and deep tracks, including montages of Beatles and Led Zepplin favorites, to an enthusiastic and loyal fan base. (Bonus is the Chicago favorite Vehicle by the Ides of March.)
”Paul handled sound and lights for THESE GUYS LIVE for the first time. He was meticulous and very easy to work with. He is a former electrical engineer and brings those organizational skills to his new profession. His equipment is in excellent condition and sounds great. His mix was very good and he had provided better than adequate lighting for this particular venue. We fully intend to use him again.”
Paradygm Shyft combines two great lead vocals, tight and talented musicianship, and a blend of genres to entertain fans and audiences every time. My favorite is the insertion of the throwback Sly Stone song with the funny name into the break of a popular funk favorite (see my Videos).
“Paul is fantastic! He's done a ton to help improve our sound which has helped improve the types of jobs we're getting. You get so much more than just a ’sound guy’. He records video, takes pictures, and records the show. He'll have it ready for you the next day in most cases. He's helped research ongoing issues we've had and helped solve the problem. You really can't go wrong hiring Paul.”
Late Night Alibi performs progressive and classic rock favorites from Rush, Kansas and Journey with perfection and a plethora of talent on instruments and vocals, to rave audience and peer reviews. Chicago area artists are well represented with songs by Styx, Head East and REO Speedwagon.
Twisted Britches performs songs "you know, that other bands don't play" such as Talking In Your Sleep, Stacy's Mom, and Radar Love.
Always fun to see and hear this band.
